The babies have been struggling, on & off, with colds. It is that time of year and things haven't been terrible, but it's still been difficult. Both twins have had regular breathing treatments lately, and they continue to need Vick's Baby Vapor Rub every night. Hopefully they will continue to get better on a daily basis.
Out of the blue, Beth had kidney stones. We went to the doctor & she got some pain meds.....a few hours later we were in the emergency room. She stayed in the hospital for 2 days. After the hospital stay we were sent to Des Moines for surgery. After a few days of recovering, she was all better. Nevertheless, it was a hectic experience & we're hoping she never has to go through that again.
So.....after Beth's surgery I officially decided to end my graduate program. Beth's surgery is a financial setback, but we're hoping all is well. Thus ends my master's program, which is fine.
Life is crazy, but it's still pretty awesome. :)
